FAQ

How do I find the right part for my outboard?

Start with your motor brand, model, horsepower and year. The serial number tag is usually on the transom bracket. Send those details through our contact page and we will help confirm fitment.

How do I choose the right horsepower?

Check the capacity plate on your boat for the maximum rated horsepower and never exceed it. Within that limit, heavier loads, larger crews and watersports call for more power, while light fishing and cruising boats do well with less.

Short shaft or long shaft?

Measure your transom height from the top of the transom to the bottom of the hull. Around 15 inches usually takes a short shaft, around 20 inches a long shaft, and around 25 inches an extra long shaft.
